Inspiration

Jack has pulled inspiration from all over the East Coast. As a true New Yorker, much of his writing style reflects the dialect and the atmosphere of decades of Long Island living.

Current projects

Saratoga Summer has just been published and is now available in paperback, hardcover and as an e-book. This work features cover art from a personal friend of Jacks and throws you into the world of a young horse race handicapper, figuring his way through adolescence.

The first book Jack wrote “Hidden” is currently in the editing process and will be coming soon. This too, will be available in paperback, hardcover and as an e-book. A story about a street-smart New Yorker who finds himself consumed by a lifestyle he never thought possible.

Advice

“Everyone has a first book in them - including you!

Why not start and do just one page a day. In a month that is THIRTY pages! I promise that once you start, you will be rolling. Don't worry if you feel that you don’t have it all laid out yet. Once you start writing, it will start to flow, and you will go in directions that you might not have considered while you were thinking it out.

The biggest thing I tell people is "write what you know." Make sure there is some element in there that you really know well. You will thank me a year from now! Just treat it like a job.”
